Civil:
Gail regularly takes instructions in possession proceedings, contract, bankruptcy, personal injury, infant settlements and
TOLATA matters.
Family:
She has considerable experience advising and representing Local Authorities in Children Act matters and also undertakes Private law cases on behalf of family members.
Gail is able to bring her amenable yet robust approach to ancillary relief matters, having advised on settlements and pension sharing orders.
Animal Welfare:
Her 20 years’ experience as a veterinary surgeon allows specialisation in all aspects of animal welfare and health matters.
Gail has advised Local Authorities on animal welfare matters including tenancy clauses relating to agricultural leases.
She acts on behalf of the RSPCA, having a keen understanding of the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and associated legislation and its impact on businesses and individuals.
General:
Gail is very interested in providing training and has spoken to a number of bodies regarding welfare and zoonotic diseases. As a hospital governor, she has acquired a useful working knowledge of the functioning of hospital trusts and has given presentations to trust boards on the role of the governor.
Gail lives on the Devon/Somerset border with her partner, 3 children and various other animals. She is a keen gardener and enjoys equestrian sport. |
