| Areas of Expertise | David became a member of Southernhay Chambers in 2007 after completing a specialist family pupillage with Christopher Naish (joint Head of Chambers). Prior to training for the Bar, David worked as a Recruitment Consultant specialising in the fields of logistics and shipping recruitment for the motor industry. Whilst studying he acted as a volunteer advocate for vulnerable people, dealing with mental health and housing issues including representing those detained in secure accommodation |

Family Law David has a wide and varied family practice and has a particular interest in cases involving domestic violence and removal from jurisdiction. He undertakes private and public law work, representing family members and Local Authorities. Civil Law David is regularly instructed in a wide range of civil proceedings with a particular focus on contract disputes, credit hire, road traffic, personal injury and Banking litigation. He has particular experience in actions stemming from road traffic accidents. Immigration and Asylum Law David is a member of our specialist Immigration Team, his particular interest being in sub-Saharan Africa applications having lived and worked there prior to training for the Bar.Additionally, he undertook a considerable amount of training in this area whilst obtaining a BA in Politics. David is happy to accept Publicly Funded instructions. |
