Rebecca practises exclusively in family law, especially domestic violence and all areas involving children. She acts for family members, Local Authorities and Guardians and many of her cases involve serious allegations of sexual abuse, non-accidental injury and domestic violence which invariably lead to finding of fact hearings. Ancillary relief also forms a large part of her practice. She appears at all Court levels.

At both undergraduate and postgraduate level, Rebecca specialised in family (child and matrimonial) law and also human rights (European and Intemational), which she continues in her practice at the Bar.

Rebecca became a member of Southernhay Chambers after completing her pupillage with us. Prior to that she was employed by the Crown Prosecution Service and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency where she worked in the Legal Services Section. As part of her undergraduate degree course she spent 9 months at Swansea Crown Court and 6 months at a firm of solicitors in London. She regularly appeared before Masters of the Chancery Courts and the Royal Courts of Justice and completed the equivalent to the first 6 months of a trainee solicitor's training programme.

She is a member of the Family Law Bar Association and accepts publicly funded work in all her areas of practice.
