Information for the general public

In most circumstances members of the public cannot instruct a barrister direct. You should first see a Solicitor of your choice. If your Solicitor considers that it is necessary for you to be represented by a Barrister, she/he will make the necessary arrangements to instruct a suitably experienced Barrister on your behalf.
